The Slice of Haven Food, Wine and Beer Festival has become a leading gourmet lifestyle event on the Mid North Coast social calendar, attracting tens of thousands of people to the Camden Haven region.
Each year organisers of the event challenge stallholders to use locally-grown key ingredients, embrace the event’s vibe of indulgence and get creatively quirky to meet the yearly theme.
Entry is by donation which goes towards the Camden Haven SES, Camden Haven Surf Life Saving Club and volunteer organisations who help make Slice of Haven happen.

After School Art Classes at The Seed
Fine art classes at The Seed provide an environment of expressive and creative innovation in a friendly, relaxed environment.
The After School art program is designed for students in primary school ages six to twelve. They will be introduced to and explore the styles and works of specific artists. Students look at and interact with famous artworks, learn and practice the techniques involved and create their own artworks in that style. Their projects explore a wide range of mediums including drawing and charcoal, paint and texture, clay and wire sculpture, layering and collage and more.

Uncovering our Past Walking Tour - Port Macquarie's History and Archaeology
This walking tour provides a general introduction to Port Macquarie and there is no better way to appreciate the town's history than on foot. Listen to the stories, visit some of our historical sites and see how our history is being interpreted.
Gwen Roberts: Open Studio
Fine artist Gwen Roberts is opening her studio to the public as part of a cultural art trail with Port Macquarie-Hastings Council. Come and see her exquisite photorealistic figurative drawings and paintings, in progress and finished pieces. Ask her about her artistic practice and techniques, and see her in action.
Gwen implements a little known drawing technique using sandpaper. Her sanded drawings are labour intensive and require expertise, so come and see how it’s done. Gwen’s artworks have been exhibited worldwide, and this is a great opportunity to see and speak to the artist at work.
