Using natural dyes on textiles, beads, print making, photographic techniques and batik, these artists capture the life, struggles and beauty of their natural surrounds in the Port Macquarie and Pappinbarra Valley region. Anthea will teach how to use lino printing to make Aboriginal art and you can take home your own finished work.

Charlie will present a view into the processes involved in creating botanical screen prints and discuss batik as well.

Vana Ford

Artist talk and mini workshop. Bookings essential.

Vana will demonstrate some techniques of shibori (Japanese resist dyeing) using a pre-reduced indigo vat and participants will prepare and dye two small pieces to take home with them.
