This wonderful event is being held in conjunction with National Gardening Week 2019 which is in October. There will be an amazing variety of garden associated promotions including Port Macquarie Garden and Wauchope Community Garden Clubs, Friends of Mrs York's Garden, Peter Mare Red Earth Compost, John Van Pierce's Rain Forest Plants, Tom's Terrariums, The Longest Row Flowers, Port Macquarie Hastings Council, Westport High School Agricultural Department and Douglas Vale Plant and Produce Stall. There will be a very interesting oral presentation by local gardening groups.

Also special visitors on the day will be the Port Macquarie Quilters, The Hastings Art Association and the Port Macquarie Vintage Car Club. There will be a variety of art and craft stalls, guided tours and wine tasting, devonshire teas, tasty barbecues and an amazing program of all day entertainment

This year the emphasis is on children. There will be the launch of a beautiful children's picture book titled The Prickly Princess and the Pixies. This story is set in a magical garden and tells the story of a giant prickly stick insect and her search for acceptance. A colouring in competition is also being held.
