The Friends of Mrs York's Garden are inviting the community to join together in a day of celebrations for the Bicentenary.
The iconic headland Garden provides a beautiful natural environment with endemic native gardens and bushland, overlooking stunning river and ocean views. It is a location where you can remember that the Birpai nation lived a bountiful. Early convict settlement flourished in an emerging Australia, with timber and shipping industries prominent. The many heritage sites within and nearby the Garden will form the basis for raising awareness, educating and celebrating the journey of 200 years of our history.
