Pauline Roods is a realist artist, living in Port Macquarie, since early childhood. Her original realistic artworks are created to awaken the viewer’s imagination, stimulate their senses and feel they are part of the scene. Pauline is the major artist for Hello Koala Sculptures and to date has painted 13 Hello Koalas Sculptures and just been commissioned to paint the new 2.5 meter Hello Koalas. Pauline created the Hello Koalas Coloring book. Pauline was an invited artist to paint a celebrity based Hop for Hope Kangaroo sculpture for the Alannah Madeline foundation.
Pauline has had exhibitions in Australia, 5 in Italy and Japan. Her paintings are highly sort after and hang in private, commercial and public collections, around the world. Pauline loves to share her knowledge with budding artists. Pauline has won numerous art competitions and been widely published in a number of well known Australian Art Magazines. Pauline’s tutorial skills have recently seen her invited as artist in residence in Australia and Indonesia. Pauline is sponsored and employed by Australian Derivan paints to create projects for their website. Pauline is a demonstration artist at the Sydney Royal Easter Show.
