Chris Mercer

These pieces incorporate both brutalism and the vibrancy from Eastern European avant-garde art. From this, and the study of Eastern European folklore and Soviet propaganda imagery, these pieces reflect a modernised conceptualisation of Soviet art.

RIOT ART will be featuring the work of young artists on this day, come and be amazed by local up and coming artists. Some of these you won’t believe their age!
