A practicing artist and arts facilitator based just 45 minutes drive from Port Macquarie, in the beautiful Pappinbarra Valley. Here is the home to both a family's small hobby farm and Charlie's arts based business Kanooka Creek Art. Named after the local Water gums (Kanuka) found up and down the Pappinbarra River. The body of work "Evolution of seasons" is the culmination of practice throughout 2018-2020. The exhibition reflects Charlie's strong affinity and responses to the seasonal conditions, capturing some of the plant life, accompanying forms and scenery that have occurred during drought, fires and wetter times. The focus and mediums utilising elements of screen printing, photographic and batik techniques.
