ArtWalk - Port Macquarie -New Date!

8 October 2020 - 5.30pm

Emerge like a butterfly from a long, dark, isolated Winter....and come and experience a Spring-time event like no other!

ArtWalk is an edgy, delightful and surprising night of discovery, so come and find out why this FREE evening is fast becoming one of the most popular events on the mid-north coast, with over 14,000 in attendance in 2019.

The Port Macquarie CBD shrugs off its daytime clothes and emerges as a stage for artists, performers and musicians who are pushing the boundaries and getting, well, a little interactive!  Don't be scared though, it's all above board (we think) and the key to enjoying yourself is to get in there and be a part of it.

Wander the streets, meet the artists, mingle with friendly folk, chat, discover, listen, wonder, eat, drink and be merry. ArtWalk illuminates secret, unassuming and unexpected spaces with free pop up performances, artistic interventions and creative installations.

But wait...what's that you say?  It's not long enough? Don't panic, there are plenty of satellite events being planned in the lead-up to ArtWalk, so make sure you like our Facebook  page for updates or keep an eye on this site in the Program+Map section.

ArtWalk 2020 encourages everyone to look to the skies with an event theme of Constellations: exploring the concepts of celestial spheres, objects and phenomena and their influence on those bound to earth.
  • A range of programs are offered for locals and visitors alike to get involved and include:
  • Artists located in Businesses within the CBD
  • Expressions of interest for creating art in Public Spaces
  • Artist markets located on Town Square
  • Creative satellite events in locations around the region
  • Volunteering on the night

If you're an artist, performer, musician, venue or volunteer wanting to be a part of ArtWalk 2020, application forms will be available from early July on this site's 'Get Involved' section. Alternatively, if you wish to register your interest to participate then please email [email protected]  or follow Facebook.com/artwalkpmq or Instagram #artwalkpmq for updates.
