It was the year of 'The Longest Footpath Art Gallery'

ArtWalk 2020 is now done and what a wonderful way to show off all the creativity thriving in this beautiful region!

ArtWalk was transformed from the usual one-night street festival to a week-long event full of the edgy, delightful and surprising. Residents and visitors alike took to the streets and into local businesses in the Port Macquarie-Hastings region over the course of the event. There was an amazing amount of creative and inspiring experiences that ranged from individual art gallery exhibits to live paintings and artist run workshops.

Artists used shop front windows of local businesses as their very own art gallery to be viewed in the day and night. There were over 100 participating artists and creatives that took part in the Longest Footpath Art Gallery held in the CBDs of Port Macquarie, Wauchope and Laurieton.

The extensive ArtWalk 2020 Program also included three Artists Markets and over 40 Satellite Events. There was an extraordinary and diverse range of creative works and experiences to take part in.
